Love Who You Are

It’s the first day of the last month on this year. We made it (almost).

After the craptastic year that was 2015, I had really high hopes for 2016 . . . and well, yeah . . . not so much.

Year ends normally bring with them an opportunity to look backward and take stock. We examine the year’s highs and lows. We determine which there were more of, and then we assign some measure of value to the year as a whole.

Here’s a quick and dirty year-end (or anytime) assessment tool. It’s good for a 26,000 foot view. (I’m partial to the number 26)

After the assessment, you’ll know where to set your intentions and your energy to finish 2016 strong and begin 2017 stronger. Yes, it’s subjective, but you’re the subject!

Maybe the results surprised you. And maybe, like me, 2017 better be awesome!!!!!

In truth, though, despite some really rocky places, 2016 revealed some great opportunities. . . .like finally settling into my calling and getting to know myself in a deeper way by asking myself questions that I’d failed to ask. I’ve also had the great pleasure of helping others deepen their relationships with themselves in the same way. And I’m feeling a great sense of quiet and building anticipation about what’s coming next.
